Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The president of the transitional federal government of Somalia Sheikh Shariif has thanked Turkish government for the continuous support it is giving to the Somali government and people.

President Shariif who had a dinner meeting with Turkish deputy prime minister, Bekir BozdaÄŸ last night at villa Somalia said that the Somali government and people fully appreciate the assistance they got from Turkey.

Bekir BozdaÄŸ who arrived yesterday in Mogadishu is today expected to open two medical training colleges and hospitals that will treat the Somali people, which are initiated by his government.

The Turkish government has yesterday started a renovation project for Mogadishu’s Adan Adde airport to enhance the its security.
