Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The prime minister of the
transitional federal government of Somalia has today visited Bakaara market in
Mogadishu for supervision and shopping purposes.
Dr Abdiweli who was accompanied by a troop of TFG staff
paid his first visit to Bakaara market since he was endorsed as the prime
minister of the transitional federal government of Somalia back in June 2011.
The PM and his convoy visited Hormuud communication
company, one of the prominent telecommunication companies situated in Bakaara
market in Mogadishu capital.
Abdiweli asked Bakaara market people to pay tax to the
transitional government in order to develop the war-torn Somali nation.
The TFG prime minister also requested the
market-operators to work with the TFG police who are mandated to enhance
security of the businesspeople.
Dr Abdiweli finally said that he paid the visit to
inspire businesspeople to report to the market place where Shabaab militias
previously converted into a military base.
