Abdiweli asked Bakaara market people to pay tax to the transitional government

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The prime minister of the transitional federal government of Somalia has today visited Bakaara market in Mogadishu for supervision and shopping purposes.

Dr Abdiweli who was accompanied by a troop of TFG staff paid his first visit to Bakaara market since he was endorsed as the prime minister of the transitional federal government of Somalia back in June 2011.

The PM and his convoy visited Hormuud communication company, one of the prominent telecommunication companies situated in Bakaara market in Mogadishu capital.

Abdiweli asked Bakaara market people to pay tax to the transitional government in order to develop the war-torn Somali nation.

The TFG prime minister also requested the market-operators to work with the TFG police who are mandated to enhance security of the businesspeople.

Dr Abdiweli finally said that he paid the visit to inspire businesspeople to report to the market place where Shabaab militias previously converted into a military base.
