Bardere (Sunatimes) Shabaab militias in Barderee district have flogged three women in which the militants accused them of utterly abusing the Shabaab sect operating in the Gedo region of Somalia.

The three women was each given 80 flogs as many Bardeera residents witnessed the scene so that the people will not take part in insulting the militias any more.

The head of Shabaab operations in Gedo region, Abaas Abudulahi who was addressing the people at the scene of flogging cautioned Bardeere residents from engaging in abusive languages geared towards their sect.

The Al- Qaeda linked militia are continuously engaged in terrorizing local people especially those in southern Somalia where their activities are fully-fledged.
