Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The recent report, by Associated Press on Abdulkadir M. Nur’s possession of warehouse stored by World Food Program food aid at behind of Nasa-hablood hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia was untrue, as published in an investigative report by independent journalists.

Photo and Video images on Eno’s warehouse in Mogadishu and other areas operated by the local agency show that there is no such storehouse at backside of the hotel.

"The report published by AP saying that Abdukadir Eno had sold the food aid by WFP to businessmen compelled us to investigate in order to find the truth about this horrific accusation" Abdirisak Black, Somali channel TV correspondent in Mogadishu said.

"We don’t know the motive behind the AP’s report but we came to know that Mr. Eno has not been a wfp contractor for the last 16 months before and his store was looted during the recent Alshabab and TFG fighting." Fadumo Ali, Sunatimes.com reporter and also worked for Radio Mogadishu said.

"We asked the WFP office in Nairobi about the story on selling the WFP’s food aid in the markets of Mogadishu and answered it is a malitious attack against Mr. Enow and the humanitarian operation for the famine victims of Somalia, which damages the reputation of the media" Journalist Muhima Ahmed said.
