Mogadishu (Sunatimes) A journalist
working with Simba FM in Mogadishu has been killed by Amisom a stray bullet
around his work place earlier today.
Farah Hassan Sahal (Farah Daarood) was
hit by the stray bullet while trying to take failed transmission equipments for
repair from the station’s broadcasting centre inside the Bakara main market in
the capital, Mogadishu.
Simba, a local FM station broadcasting
to Mogadishu areas has been off air for the last few days after some of its
transition equipments have been damaged by the recent fight between government
troops and Al-Shabaab militia in and around the market.
