Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Al-Qaeda has announced that a British
teenager leading a unit of Al-Qaeda fighters on a terror mission in Somalia has
been killed.
According to the Sunday
Mirror, the message which was posted on a password-protected
website, said the Brit and other Jihadists who died had a “one-way ticket to
the promised paradise”.
Al-Qaeda says the leader of its unit in Somalia, was a teenager
who left the opportunity of enjoying his youthful pleasures in the United
Kingdom.
The Sunday Mirror reported that the person who posted the message
on the internet Al- Qaeda warlord, Abu Yaser al-Maqdishy, boasted on how a
father-of-three from the US was among their army.
The announcement is thought to be the first time Al-Qaeda has
admitted that UK recruits are fighting in the lawless African country.
Somalia has become the world’s biggest breeding ground for
terrorists – and experts estimate that there are 100 Brits training and
fighting inside Somalia, says the tabloid newspaper.
