Mogadishu experiences a daily influx of drought -Reported By Mss Faduma Farah Ali

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) At least 150 drought-displaced people from Bay and Bakol regions have on Monday night arrived in Waberi district of Mogadishu in search relief aid.

Hundreds of new arrivals disembarked from the trucks ferrying them to Mogadishu at SYL monument in Waberi district, where they immediately received a helping hand from area administration and sympathetic locals in the district who provided them with desperately needed food and water before joining other IDPs in Mogadishu.

Mogadishu experiences a daily influx of drought stricken refugees seeking food and water, with a daily estimate of 30 families from hardest hit regions of Bay, Bakol, and Gedo.
