Recent US air strikes in some parts of Somalia’s Jubba region is believed to have killed Ali Almriki,

Nairobi (Sunatimes) The Kenyan government has enhanced security at its airports to curb imminent international terror attacks.

Kenya’s deputy police spokesman, Charles Wahong’o, says more security personnel have been deployed in the country’s main airports in order to avert any possible terror attacks or reduce its impact in case of any terror attacks.

Mr. Charles also noted that several security checkpoints have been established in and around the Jomo Kenya international airport in assuring commuter’s safety.

Meanwhile the Kenyan government has tighten security at its common border with Somalia, following simultaneous foreign air strikes at Al-Shabaab bases along the Kenyan-Somali border, fearing that militant might cross to Kenya.

A senior Kenyan police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity hinted that foreign air strikes in Somalia are part of measures taken to wipeout terrorist groups in the region.

Recent US air strikes in some parts of Somalia’s Jubba region is believed to have killed Ali Almriki, who is mandated in making deadly explosives for Al-shabaab and Al-Qaeda militants in Somalia.
