Abuu Saaid, who was the former Dobley district commissioner

Kismayo (Sunatimes) Afmadow’s Al-Shabab militant leader in lower Juba, Abuu Saaid, has been wounded and four other militants killed in fierce gun-battle that erupted between two opposing sides of Al-Shabab militant group at Qoqani area.

Reliable sources told Bar-kulan, that the militant leader was shot in the stomach and later taken to Mogadishu for further treatment.

The scuffle erupted between the two opposing sides of Al-Shabab after sixty militants loyal to Abuu Saaid engaged fierce fighting with rival armed Al-Shabab militants whom they recently differed.

Abuu Saaid, who was the former Dobley district commissioner, for the Al-Shabab led administration in the lower juba, is accused of his alleged role in the defections of high-ranking militant leaders and fighters to the TFG and Ahlu Sunna side, who has recently seized control of Qoqani, allegations that he has strongly denied.
