    TFG’s drought committee reserves land for IDPs

Among the members of the committee are minister for health, Adan Haji Ibrahim, the assistant minister for information and the deputy mayor of Banadir region, Ali Ahmed Guure.

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The committee of emergency on drought and displaced persons formed by the new prime minister of Somalia Abdiwali Mohamed Ali visited and supervised land in Dharkenley district in Mogadishu reserved for the settlement of IDPs.

Dharkenley district commissioner, Maallim Abdulle Hilowle welcomed the ministerial committee to conduct their supervision in the area.

The land visited by the committee has been set aside for the settlement of IDPs who are estimated to be around 3000 families. The deputy minister for Internal affairs of the TFG Adan Yarow Issack said the committee has done a good job.

Among the members of the committee are minister for health, Adan Haji Ibrahim, the assistant minister for information and the deputy mayor of Banadir region, Ali Ahmed Guure.

The drought committee of Somalia’s transitional federal government called for international aid agencies and the Somali people in diaspora to help the drought affected people in Mogadishu.
