Darfur (Sunatimes) Southern Sudan police have arrested more than seventy
Somali people in Jubba, the capital of Southern Sudan State.
Police carried out
operations to hunt down down people who are illegally staying in the
country.
The arrested people are
being held in the army center in the outskirt of Jubba, the capital of Southern
Sudan State.
No statement was given by
the Sudanese government or the immigration department of the country regarding
the arrest of the people.
People of Ethiopian and
Eritrian origins were also arrested in the crackdown. Sources say these people
will be deported back to their respective countries.
There are many Somali people
who carry out business activities in Southern Sudan.
