Galkao (Sunatimes) The militias of Ahlu Sunna Wal-jama’a in Central Regions of Somalia gave accounts of the latest fighting that took place in Gobo village, 8km north of Mahas district in Hiran region.

The deputy leader of Guriel Ali Bashi Adan Dirie said that they have killed five Al Shabab fighters and wounded seven in the latest fighting.

Ali Bashe claims to have burnt weapon mounted vehicles, while they captured two persons confirming that they retreated from the village.

He added that they are going to continue their fight against Al Shabab adding that they are going to take good care of the captured Al Shabab and will be taught the correct teachings of Islam.

Fighting occured last Tuesday in Gobo village between Ahlu Sunna and Al Shabab after Ahlu Sunna attacked the village.
