    Plans to soldier children have been ongoing in Baidoa to participate in the fight against the the government of Somalia.

Plans to soldier children have been ongoing in Baidoa to participate in the fight against the the government of Somalia.

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The militia of Al Shabab in Baidoa town of Baay region have today started operations of soldiering around thirty students from the Koranic schools in the town.

The residents of Baidoa told Bar-kulan that the children age between 12 to 15 years, and are taken to centers in Baidoa where they are being trained.

The parents of the children expressed concern about the move saying that it is disheartening, but could do nothing about it. Some parents started to take away their children from the Madrasas.

Plans to soldier children have been ongoing in Baidoa to participate in the fight against the the government of Somalia.

The ongoing violence in Somalia had impacts on children, as children are recruited as soldiers and get killed in fighting.

The United Nations has called on  all the groups involved in the conflict in Somalia to respect child rights and spare them in the ongoing violence.
