Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Fighting between moderate Islamist group of Ahlu Sunna Wal-jama’a and Al Shabab has erupted early this morning in Dhagahyale village about 60 KM south east of Dhusamareb district in Galgadud region.

The fightting kicked off after Al Shabab launched an attack on Ahlu Sunna military base in Dhagahyale village. The Al Shabab militia attacked the village from Eilbur which is a main military base of the militia in the region.

The daybreak fighting is going on and there are no independent reports of casualties so far on the residents and the warrying sides as the fighting started in the early hours of the morning.

Battles for the reign of Dhusamareb town and the suburban areas have been one of the bloodiest combat between the two groups.
