Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Al Shabab militia in the Lower Shabelle region of Somalia has vowed that they will retaliate to avenge the death of Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda leader who was killed last week by US Special Forces in Pakistan.
The Al Shabab militia has gathered 100 assault rifles of AK-47 and money which have been collected from businessmen in the region.
Mohamed Abu Abdalla, Al Shabab senior official in Marka town said the weapons and money collected is intended to avenge Osama bin Laden.
The militia also asked the businessmen to gather young men to fight for them and to increase the weapons they have provided.
This is not the first time the group discloses retaliation. On Friday, Sheikh Ali Mohamud Raage, the spokesman of Al Shabab announced that they will avenge for former Al Qaeda’s leader.
