DJibouti (Sunatimes) Djibouti’s Prime Minister, Dileita Mohamed Dileita has resigned from the post of premiership, after holding the position for more than ten years. The President, Ismail Omar Guelleh accepted the resignation letter tendered by Dileita.
Premier Dileita had held this post for a long period of time and political analysistis speculate that President Guelleh may re-appoint him to reassume his post and form new cabinet.
The resignation of the premier follows promises by President Guelleh to bring major changes in the government which the people were eagerly waiting. The new government is expected to manifest the promises by the president.
Dileita Mohamed Dileita was born in 1958 in Tadjourah town of Djibouti, and has long been an active politician in the country.
