Mogadishu (Sunatimes) The president of Somalia, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed has today met with the national reconciliation committee in the state State House where they discussed the political issues, transition period and the security situation of the country.
The president said his government will play its role in allowing for the passing of the transition period and off to peaceful durations after the elections that are scheduled to happen later this year.
The president asked the reconciliation committee to try their best to quell the wrangles between the institutions of the government.
The chairman of the National Reconciliation Committee Ismail Moallim Muse told the president that the committee is doing all it can to bring abrupt solutions to the problems in the country and solve rifts between the government institutions.
Ismail Muse said addressing these problems can do a lot in the process of reconciliation.
